In one minute: Load the game, choose Crowd or Rare, then enter one NBA player who fits each prompt before the clock expires. Review the shot result and continue through all ten questions.
Start a run
- Open the Curryillion game and press Load and play NBA trivia.
- On the game screen, choose Crowd if you want a popular valid answer to score well. Choose Rare if you want a less common valid answer to score well.
- Start the run. Read the whole prompt, including any team, season, award or other restriction.
- Type a player name that meets the condition and submit it before the 30-second timer runs out.
- Read the result, then continue to the next prompt. Your ten shots add up to a final score out of 30.
Read before you answer
These are category questions with more than one possible correct player. The exact condition matters. A player linked to a team in a different season, or a finalist where the question asks for a winner, does not satisfy the prompt. First find a name you are confident qualifies; then decide whether to use it or search your memory for a more strategic pick.
If the game does not recognize a name, check the spelling and try another eligible player while time remains. A rare sounding name has no value if it does not fit the condition.
Choose your scoring style
The prompt stays the same across Crowd and Rare. The scoring preference changes. Crowd favors names many players would choose. Rare favors valid names that fewer people would recall. Both modes turn accepted answers into one-, two- or three-point shots. Our scoring guide explains the bands and gives a simple decision process for each mode.

After the final prompt
Look at where you lost points. If a correct but obvious name scored low in Rare, try building a short mental list of older eras, teammates and role players for the next run. In Crowd, ask which valid name another fan would think of first. The game supplies its own questions and answer rankings, so treat any practice examples as strategy, not a promise of a particular score.
